Study 6–8 Indian wellness and heritage tea brands, compare how they price, package, and pitch themselves, and tell us where Danapani should stand.
Danapani is a homegrown Indian tea brand sitting somewhere between artisan, Ayurvedic, and social-impact wellness. Before we spend on marketing, we want to know exactly where we sit next to the other players in this space — and where the honest gap is for us to own.
Pick 6–8 comparable homegrown Indian brands. Think functional teas, Ayurvedic ranges, "luxury wellness" tins, anything a Danapani customer might put in the same cart. For each one, dig into pricing, packaging, brand messaging, social presence (who they post for, what performs), and — this is the part most audits skip — what their actual customers complain about in reviews. Amazon, Nykaa, their own site, Instagram comments. Real quotes are more useful than summaries.
Deliverable: a clean slide deck. One slide per competitor with the comparison points, a few synthesis slides pulling out patterns (who's crowded, who's underserving whom), and a final slide with 3–5 concrete recommendations for how Danapani should differentiate. Our instinct is the artisan and social-impact angle, but push back if the research says otherwise.
You'll get access to our website (shopdanapani.com), our current product range and pricing, and a short call with me to walk through what we've tried so far. Bring opinions.
